Easter Egg Hunt and Activities – King, ON

When: Fri April 10th and Sat April 11th 9 am- 4 pm we will be hosting an Easter Egg hunt for all–young and young at heart!

Come any time and have fun finding a dozen different coloured eggs hidden in baskets around the farm, and exchange them for an Easter bag of treats. No rushing around, pushing or shoving just lots of fun for everyone!

Easter egg hunt 
Go to the barn and see the baby farm animals, pet and hold bunnies and baby goat
In the greenhouse visit and hold the chicks and ducklings
Colour an Easter picture to take home
Hop on the farm hoppers in the hopper coral
Tractor driven wagon ride – weather permitting

Cost: $24/family of 4- 5 or $6/person. (age 2-92)

Farm fresh eggs, tarts, cookies, honey, fudge, pies, jam, maple syrup, turkey products and vegetables.
Décor items: decorated gourds, bouquets, lavender jars and pouches and more

In support of QLD multiculturalism, with loads of entertainment for all ages. Not to be missed this ‘FREE’, fun-filled event, which includes fun rides, authentic food stalls, and free traditional sweets. It also includes magic shows, multi-cultural events, DJ, cooking demo, kolam(floor art) and painting competitions, tug-of-war, traditional sports. Free activities for kids – face painting, tattoo and much much more.

Pongal Festival (The Harvest Festival) is celebrated by Tamils all over the world in the form of thanks-giving to the nature, agriculture, farmers and livestock animals which help in farming and cropping. This annual celebration exhibits loads of fun, ethnic food, art, competitions, fun rides, cultural events, country songs and dances. In #Queensland, this annual celebration event has been organised in ‘open park area’ since 2014 by the Tamil Community in Brisbane. The Supporters, Sponsors, Volunteers and community members are excited to celebrate again on 19th January 2019 (Thai 5).
The objective of this event is to create awareness and keep the rich Tamil culture amongst the #multicultural Queensland community alive through cultural performances, art and music, encourage and support local and overseas country/folk musicians, support Tamil school which aims to teach conversational Tamil to enthusiastic learner from various age groups and backgrounds of #Queensland. Moreover, this adds colour and richness to Queensland’s growing diversity.
