ACRES Charity Screening (free-seating),Singapore

ACRES Charity Screening (free-seating)

This Christmas will be extra special because the Indian star tortoises whom we are repatriating to India will have settled in quarantine before being wild and free once again. It will be the complete and humane reverse of when they were once poached from the wild, smuggled across borders and kept as exotic pets.

To raise funds for their return to freedom, we are hosting a Charity Screening of award-winning documentary ‘Racing Extinction’ at The Projector. If you missed our film festival in October, this is the chance to catch it, because it addresses some of the biggest problems facing our Earth and, most importantly, how to solve them.

Date: Thursday, 20 December 2018
Screen time: 8.00pm to 10.00pm (registration begins at 7.30pm)
Ticket fee: $29.50 (including booking/transaction fee)
Venue: The Projector and Intermission Bar, Green Room
Address: 6001 Beach Road, Golden Mile Tower, #05-00, Singapore 199589

A team of artists and activists expose the hidden world of extinction with never-before-seen images that will change the way we see the world and our role within it. The documentary film draws attention to mankind’s role in a potential loss of at least half of the world’s species.
Parental Guidance advised (contains scenes of animals in distress)
